It is imperative that you take care of yourself! Don't loose sight of meeting your own spiritual, mental, and physical needs. Nurse aides have demanding jobs, and sometimes, demanding schedules.
Nurses must stay centered, and focused on meeting the needs of the patient's total care.
if you always put your own needs on the back burner, you will loose your effectiveness, and burn out. With a little thought, and plan of action, You can be a really great CNA, and still balance all the other areas of your life beautifully.

1. Go for a brisk walk, or stroll. 2. Take vitamins, or supplements. 3. Eat whole, nourishing foods. 4. Drink enough water to stay hydrated. 5. Get plenty of rest. 6. Make time for "me time". 7. Find a hobby outside of your job. 8. Surround yourself with positive people. 9. The better you care for yourself, the better caregiver you will be. 10. No matter what career path you choose, stay "in balance".
